Golf Course Green

Construction Supervision

FANJING MOUNTAIN, GUIZHOU PROVINCE, CHINA

In summer 2013 company Principal, Niall Glen was invited to act as on site Architect and Construction Supervisor for the second half of the construction of the, Michael J Poellot designed, Fanjing Mountain project in Guizhou province, China.

The design, and in particular the earthworks required to complete this golf course, were very challenging and on site architectural supervision was critical to help the smooth running of the project on this very tricky site.  Niall spent 3 months on site to oversee the earthworks making critical design decisions to overcome a variety of problems that the team encountered due to the severe slopes on the site.

This course will open for play in mid 2013 and promises to be an exciting golf course with stunning elevation change and views.
